Maro – Cerro Gordo
Maro – Cerro Gordo is a protected stretch of coastline with clear water, rocky reefs and dramatic underwater scenery. This western area includes Cuevas de Cantarrijan, La Huerta, Los Congrios, Los Molinos and Calaiza.
The dive sites here sit around coves, rocky points and sheltered corners of the natural reserve. Expect swim throughs, reef structures, sandy patches and plenty of marine life around the rocks.
La Herradura
La Herradura is a sheltered bay with easy access to several beautiful dive sites. The area is known for clear water, rocky formations and a relaxed coastline that works well for both training dives and fun dives.
These dive sites sit around the bay and nearby rocky points, offering a mix of sandy patches, reef structure, swim throughs and marine life. It is a versatile area with options for different levels and conditions.
Marina del Este
Marina del Este is a compact and beautiful dive area with clear water, rocky reefs and several of the most iconic dive sites on this coastline. The area includes Punta de la Mona, Virgin Mary, Punta Shallow, Fraggle Rock and Marina del Este.
These dive sites are clustered around the rocky coastline near the marina, with options for scenic reef dives, deeper profiles, swim throughs and sheltered spots depending on the conditions.
